CHRISTMAS CAMP (AGE 5-11 YEARS OLD)

Program: Dec 28-30, 2019   

This 3 day program offers kids the opportunity to get a feel for skiing with Hemlock Ski Club in groups of similar age and ability. The program is designed to try different terrain in fun and encouraging environment and focus on skiing fundamentals. Kids join the other returning club members for three days and if they like the program, they can continue in the regular Nancy Greene program for an additional fee.

All coaches are certified by the National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP), Canadian Ski Coach Federation (CSCF) or Canadian Ski Instructors Association (CSIA).

Requirements:

Children interested in the program should be able to ski down a beginner run, turn in a snowplough, stop safely and be able to load a chair lift with minimum assistance.

Families are responsible for child’s equipment including a ski helmet, as well as a lift pass, which can be found at Sasquatch Mountain Resort.
